Master-pneumatic cylinder honing machine and vertical honing machine MI-550 is a quality product from the 1992 and 1999 NSIC techmart award winner team of qualified and highly experienced engineers and skilled work force. The cabinet of the machine is constructed out of 10 S W gauge sheet. Material duly painted to make it quite sturdy and durable. MI-550 master pneumatic cylinder honing machine gives a close dimensional accuracy and a perfect cross hatch pattern in the bores of engine cylinder body and sleeve. In this model conventional vitrified or abrasives are easily interchangeable linear movement from end to end is on linear bearings. Stroke speeds are variable and controllable. It is very easy to dial at any desired RPM and rate at any time while honing cradle of this machine can be indexed for precise alignment of inline and 60º or 90º V'S.
